Basic Emergency Protocol

What you need to know:

- Where your fire extinguishers are located

- Where all your fire exits are

- Where your fire assembly point is located

- Where your electrical turn of switch is

- Where your gas turn off valve is located (if applicable)

- Where your break glass points are

- Where your alarm panel is located

- Know how to reset your alarm panel

- Know the total number of residents and staff in the building at any given time

- Ensure that all incidents are reported and recorded in the fire log book
